Eloïse – Suckers

19 year old singer-songwriter Eloïse is back with a new single. ‘Suckers‘ is a gloomy pop song about a doomed romance. Chilling vocal harmonies against a stripped back electronic track make for an intriguing combination. It’s a type of ‘pop noir’ that former indie-rockers Spector have gravitated towards for new EP ‘Ex Directory’.

This is Eloïse’s first release since being included in the Telegraph’s Best New Music 2017 with the ‘Marie Antoinette’ EP and single ‘Now He Wears White‘. For Suckers, Eloïse teamed up with Lewis Gardiner, who has worked with the likes of Ellie Goulding and Prides.

She says: “Suckers is essentially a self-directed character assassination. I wanted to get more personal about the ideas I’ve presented in previous songs which look more distantly at romance. I just wanted to sound mildly indifferent to the man in the cheap tuxedo.”
There is a handful of future singles in the pipeline for this young artist including some big collaborations. Plus a video for Suckers shot in Amsterdam on the way.
Eloïse has several London shows planned with more dates yet to be announced.
