Katy Perry is back with another fresh track from her new album and a freshly shaved head. ‘Bon Appetit‘, the star’s first release since February’s ‘Chained To The Rhythm‘, looks like being another instant hit.
This time around, KP has recruited the trio of Atlanta trappers Migos, who have been collaborating left, right and centre in the last few months. They recently lit up Calvin Harris and Frank Ocean’s tune ‘Slide‘.
Bon Appetit is an unadultered dose of confidence and bravado. It’s packed to brim with less-than-subtle sexual inneundos – made even less subtle by Offset, Quavo and Takeoff‘s short but sweet verses.
Slow-building house beats and nostalgic synths are the soundtrack for the juicy lyrical content.
Despite receiving mixed reviews so far from fans and critics alike, Katy Perry’s divisive new banger, is likely to be a staple on many a Summer ’17 playlist.
