This Manchester quartet have had a big year. From being selected by the BBC to represent new British music at the SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas in the summer to having their track ‘City’ bing the first song played on Apple’s Beats 1 radio station. They were also thrown in with the likes of Oasis, The Smiths and The Stone Roses by Spotify’s Sound of Manchester playlist. Supporting bands like Jaws and Spector, they’ve been hard to avoid this year.

Drummer and singer Tarek Musa is the engine of the band’s energetic and loud live performances. Indie rock tracks with a pop-punk sound like ‘Mumma’ and ‘Who Are You?’ could take 2016 by storm.
