Jupiter Cats

This wacky London duo first pulled on their ill-fitting balaclavas in 2015, and immediately got to work recording noisy alternative pop that breaks all the rules and echoes the emergence of fellow experimental London project Drones Club.

The twosome’s full LP- ‘The Truant‘ – deals with introversion, death and boredom.

Debut single ‘A Disengagement Party‘ is a cocktail of pop, indie, ska and funk that’s anything but boring. The track is available for streaming now and comes with an equally interesting video.

Jupiter Cats’ album becomes available for free download tomorrow (17th June) via Foof Records- the label who brought us recent releases from Phoebe Robinson and Ziegler Co.

The Truant promises to be something special if this single is anything to go by. However, if we’ve learnt anything from it, it’s to expect the unexpected.
